Review:
Can't beat the price for an assembled proto board ready to run, just popuate with your own supplied PIC and you are in business. Update the flash in circuit with the supplied programmer header.
*DO* read the online user manual carefully a couple of times. You must wire RS232 RX-> TX and TX -> RX yourself, and I did it wrong the first time because I didn't read the manual carefully.
Another thing which is not documented or obvious, all of the pads around the parameter of the board share the same PCB trace, and because of the solder mask, this is *not* visible unless you use a bright light or the sun to see "through" the board. I blew up a few PICs because of this and had a hell of a time debugging this issue until I carefully inspected the board in bright sunlight.
I will order these again whenever another project comes up... it's a no brainer!
