This adapter features a lidded Zero-Insertion-Force socket for programming 44-pin PLCC, CLCC or LCC packaged chips in a DIP-socketed programmer. The 40 pin DIP plug span is 0.6”. The adapter has a two-piece modular construction, allowing you to replace the individual sub-assemblies when they wear out. Supported devices include the following: 8748, 8749, 8751H, 87C51, 87C52, 87C51-FA, 87C51-FB, 87C51-FC, 87C528, 87C652, 87C654, AT89C51. This adapter emulates the footprint of the 40-pin DIP version of each device.
