This adapter features a lidded Zero-Insertion-Force socket for programming 68-pin PLCC packaged PIC microcontrollers in a DIP-socketed programmer.The adapter's 40 pin DIP plug span is 0.6”. The adapter has a two-piece modular construction, allowing you to replace the individual sub-assemblies when they wear out. Supported devices include the following Microchip PIC MCUs: PIC16C923, PIC16C924, PIC17C752, PIC17C756 Jumpers on the adapter are used to change between wiring layouts for the 16C92x or 17C75x processors.
