LM386 Audio Power Amplifier on board Screw terminal connections 3.3V to 5V operation The AudioAMP Board features an LM386 power amplifier designed for use in low-voltage consumer applications. The gain is set internally to 20 to keep external part count low. The gain can be increased up to 200 by adding an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8. Pads for such a resistor are provided; the capacitor is already present. This board is a great choice for AM/FM radio amplifiers, portable cassette player amplifiers, intercoms and TV sound systems.
