The chip includes a high-performance, low-power VS DSP4 processor core, working memory, 5 KiB instruction RAM and 0.5 KiB data RAM for user applications, serial control and input data interfaces, four general-purpose I/O pins, as well as a high-quality variable-sample-rate stereo DAC, an earphone amplifier, and a common buffer. The board can be connected to your development board using provided IDC10 connector cables. A jumper on the board allows you to set the power supply voltage to 3.3V or 5V depending on your development system. Additional jumpers let you enable or disable the on-board speaker.
