Standalone AVR Programmer with LCD and Keypad This portable AVR programmer can hold up to 32 different AVR target settings in separate slots that are 256KB in size and completely independent. Each slot can store a description for the programmer's LCD, different files and fuse information for any AVR, and whether ISP or JTAG programming mode is to be used for that slot's target. Once you have loaded code into the unit, it is completely standalone. It has a rechargeable 9V battery, and can power your target circuit at 1.8V to 5V if required. Slot selection is made either by entering the slot number, or by scrolling through slot descriptions. Once you have the correct slot selected and are connected to your target (adapters for JTAG and 10- or 6-pin ISP headers are included), simply press the Program button to update your target's AVR microcontroller. A USB interface and software is included so you can do the initial code loading into the programmer from your PC. The software runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10 — 32- or 64-bit. The programmer has a charging circuit, and a power supply is included so you can recharge the programmer's battery. This programmer is ideal for pre-setting then handing off to non-technical operatives, as no mistakes can be made — just press the button and the correct code is loaded.
