This evaluation kit provides quick and easy access to the interfaces and peripheral functions supported by the XT-Nano-SXL Serial-to-Ethernet Module. These include one RS232 and one RS485 interface as well as a SPI 16x2-character LCD and an SD card holder. Also, a POE (Power Over Ethernet) module is included, and a prototyping area with 2mm pitch allows you to connect your own hardware. Using the prepared cables, it is possible to separate or connect each bus of the included XT-Nano-SXL module.
XT-NANO–SXL Module Features Due to its extremely small dimensions of only 22 × 34 mm and its compact type, the XT-NANO-SXL embedded network module is particularly suitable to be integrated even in very small terminals. A total of two bus systems is made available with five switchable interfaces each such as RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI and TTL-IO. It is even possible to use a POE supply (Power over Ethernet), since all necessary connections are performed. No additional Ethernet components such as Phyther, carrier or RJ45 jack are required, since all necessary components are integrated.
The kit requires a 5V power supply or can use Power over Ethernet IEEE802.3af. The main board measures 100 × 160 mm.
