TFT 7 Professional Kit 1 - STM32F4: 7" MMB, Visual TFT, BASIC US$587.00

TFT 7 Professional Kit 1 - STM32F4: 7\" MMB, Visual TFT, BASIC

The TFT 7 Professional Kit 1 for STM32F4 offers a complete solution for creating graphical user interfaces on a TFT display using an ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller programmed in BASIC.

This kit bundles the mikromedia 7 for STM32F4, a license of the Visual TFT design software, and the mikroBASIC compiler & IDE for ARM (with USB license dongle).

mikromedia 7 for STM32F4 Overview

The mikromedia 7 for STM32F4 allows development of hand-held or mounted devices with multimedia content. The central part of the system is the 32-bit STM32F407ZGT6 ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller. The mikromedia 7 for STM32 features integrated modules such as stereo MP3 codec, 7-inch TFT 800480 touch screen display, accelerometer, microSD card slot, buzzer, IR receiver, RGB LED, PIN photodiode, temperature sensor, 2.4GHz RF transceiver, Ethernet transceiver, WiFi module, CAN transceiver, 8Mbit Flash memory, RTC battery, Li-Poly battery charger, etc. The board also contains a mini-B USB OTG connector, power jack, On/Off switch, and more.

A color user manual is included, and code examples are free to download. The board has a built-in mikroProg programmer/debugger with USB interface, so you won't have to spend a penny more on external programmers. If you do want to, 25-pin pads are available for using an external mikroProg for STM32 or ST-LINK/V2 (with adapter).

All unused microcontroller pins are available via pads along the sides of the board. The board measures 179 111 mm (7 4.37 inches). It ships with an Ethernet cable, a USB cable, a 2GB microSD card, a stylus, spacers, and pin headers that you can solder to the expansion ports.

The system is powered by your PC via USB. Simply plug in the USB cable and the TFT display will turn on automatically. It also can be powered by a battery or an external supply via its barrel jack.
