This is an adapter board for breaking out the GPIO or LCD pins on the A20-OLinuXino-LIME2 or A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-4GB board. You'll also need the CABLE-40-40-10CM 2×20-pin 0.05"-pitch ribbon cable to connect this adapter to the LIME2. NOTE: This is only for the new LIME2 boards mentioned above. It will not work on the original LIME boards. The pinout of the interface connectors is different. If you have an A10-LIME or A20-LIME board (i.e. not LIME2), use the older adapter. When connected to GPIO1 of the LIME2, it provides a UEXT port so you can connect a UEXT module to add functionality to the LIME2. It also breaks out the GPIO port pins to a 0.1"-pitch IDC connector and to 0.1"-pitch pin header pads. Pins are included that you can solder to the pads. When connected to GPIO2 or GPIO3 of the LIME2, the GPIO pins are broken out as explained above (but UEXT is not available). When connected to the LCD port of the LIME2, the LCD signals are broken out, and you can connect any of the older A13-LCD modules to the adapter's 2×20-pin IDC port via a CABLE-IDC40-15cm 2×20-pin 0.1"-pitch ribbon cable. Thus, to connect one of those older display boards to the LIME2, you would connect a CABLE-40-40-10CM between the LIME's LCD port and this adapter, then connect a CABLE-IDC40-15cm between this adapter and the LCD module. However, if all you want to do is connect an LCD, there are newer LCD-OLinuXino displays available that have a direct compatible interface; you can just use one 0.05"-pitch CABLE-40-40-10CM to connect to those displays without needing this adapter.
