PIC32MX Clicker is a compact development board featuring a Microchip PIC32MX534F064H 32-bit microcontroller, two indicator LEDs, two general-purpose buttons, a reset button, a mini-USB connector, and a mikroBUS host socket that allows you to plug in one of more than 100 different plug-and-play peripheral modules (called Click boards). The PIC32MX chip comes pre-programmed with fast USB HID bootloader, so you can load code into it without needing an external programmer.
If you want to use an external programmer, pads are available on the board for installing a header compatible with the mikroProg-PIC.
The board also has a row of pads for connection to external electronics: GND, 3V3, RB10, RB11, RB12, RB13, RD9, RD10, RD3, RD2. The mikroBUS host connector consists of two 1×8 female headers with SPI, I2C, UART, RST, PWM, Analog and Interrupt lines as well as 3.3V, 5V and GND power lines.
The user LEDs can be used for visual indication of the logic state on pins RD4 and RD1. The user buttons are connected to RB4 and RB0.
The PIC32MX Clicker board can be powered over a USB cable. On-board power circuitry generates 3.3V and 5V. A green LED indicates the presence of power supply.
