WiFi2 click carries an HLK-M30 WiFi module with a built-in TCP/IP protocol stack. Additional supported network protocols include TCP/UDP and DHCP/DNS.
The board is simple to set up, with an option to use either a static or dynamic IP address. If you mess up something, simply reset it back to factory setting through the mikroBUS AN pin (marked DEF on the board).
All standard security algorithms like WEP64, WEP128, TKIP, AES, WEP/WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK are supported so you wont have to rely on passwords alone for protection.
WiFi2 click communicates with your target board through mikroBUS UART (TX, RX), RST, and AN lines. A red LED indicates WiFi activity. Note: This board uses a 3.3V power supply only.
mikroBUS Click Boards Overview Click boards come with header pins that you must solder yourself. After that, they just plug directly into a mikroBUS socket. mikroBUS is a specially designed plug-and-play pinout standard. The sockets are found on Clicker boards, these mikromedia shields, and development systems from mikroElektronika (V7 systems and later).

WiFi Add-on Module Resources
Note that while this board comes with pins to install for the mikroBUS interface, it does not come with pins to use on the GPIO0-2/GND interface. If you want to use that extra interface, you'll need to supply pin headers. A strip can be added to your order using the option checkbox below.
