This is the same CPU module that is included in the MYD-SAMA5D36-C-I system.
The MCC-SAMA5D36-C-I CPU module is an industrial SoM with an Atmel SAMA5D36 ARM Cortex-A5 processor running at 536 MHz. This module board features 256MB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MB NandFlash, 4MB DataFlash and 64KB EEPROM, as well as Gigabit Ethernet PHY. It connects to a host board via two sets of 2×40-pin 2mm-pitch male headers. It also has two unpopulated 2×17-pin 2mm-pitch through-hole headers for I/O signals. This CPU module is ready to run Linux and Android. It works in the industrial temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
Note: Best performance will be achieved under Linux.
This is one of five CPU modules with the same pinout. You can swap it with the CPU module on a compatible system (e.g. MYD-SAMA5D31-C-I, MYD-SAMA5D33-C-I, MYD-SAMA5D34-C-I, MYD-SAMA5D35-C-I) so you can evaluate the different processors in the Atmel SAMA5D3x series. The differences between the five available processors is as follows:
* All five CPUs have three 5-line USARTs and a 3-line DBGU (Debug UART). The SAMA5D31, SAMA5D35 and SAMA5D36 add two 3-line UARTs (i.e. asynchronous only).
