WIFI-2 is an Ogemray GWF-3M08-33-B-7-2 OEM WiFi Module designed to use a USB2.0 port on a 3.3V system. It has a Ralink/MediaTek RT5370N WiFi module and an i-PEX MHF (U.FL) connector for attaching an external antenna. Its 7-pin interface at 2mm pitch allows it to be connected to an Arietta-128MB or Arietta-256MB embedded Linux module (a header socket is included that you can solder to your Arietta so you can plug in this WiFi module). You could use a 2mm-pitch prototyping board to build this into your own design. This is not an end-user USB WiFi module! It is designed to be embedded into a device that would provide the actual USB port. Although this module has an antenna trace on its PCB, that trace is not connected. If you only need a short-range solution using an integrated PCB antenna, purchase the WIFI-2-IA which has its integrated PCB antenna connected (but does not have a U.FL connector). Compatible Antenna A compatible WiFi antenna solution is the U.FL-to-RPSMA Adapter plus the External WiFi Antenna. WiFi Module Features - Standards: IEEE802.11b/g/n (1T1R mode)
- Operating Frequency: 2.412 to 2.4835 GHz
- Protocols: CCK, QPSK, BPSK (802.11b); OFDM (802.11g/n)
- Security: WPA/WP2/WPAI, 64/128/152-bit WEP, WPS

Pinout Pin | Signal | Description | 1 | TX | RF ON/OFF control. Low level activated to OFF | 2 | 3V3 | Power supply 3.3V DC | 3 | D- | USB data - | 4 | D+ | USB data + | 5 | GND | Ground | 6 | LED | Activity LED output | 7 | WPS | WPS function. Low level activated | Using WiFi Module on Arietta G25 The Arietta boards have a 7-pin through-hole header designed to support this module, and the Ralink Kernel driver is already installed in the default microSD image for Arietta (see link below for configuration instructions). Note that the Activity LED on the WiFi module is not connected on Arietta boards. Also note that the module uses Arietta's USB port B signals on J4.16 (D+) and J4.18 (D-), so those pins can not be used for other purposes when this module is installed. WiFi Module Resources
