This is the CPU module that is included on the MYD-AM3358-Y system, available separately here for integration into your own system. It contains a Texas Instruments AM3358BZCZA100 Sitara 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, a Gigabit Ethernet PHY, 256MB NAND Flash, 256MB DDR3 SDRAM, and a power-management IC. The module can be soldered to a host system through its 1.27mm-pitch 146-pin stamp-hole interface. The module measures 65 × 35 mm and operates in the industrial temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The Texas Instruments Sitara AM3358BZCZA100 ARM Cortex-A8 Microprocessor produces high DMIPS at a low cost while also delivering key peripherals. It includes a 3D graphics accelerator and PRU-ICSS which is used for slave industrial communication protocols like PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Powerlink and Ethernet/IP.
