The MYD-AM3358-Y comes with Linux pre-installed, as well as a WiFi module. The AM3358 CPU includes a 3D graphics accelerator and PRU-ICSS which is used for slave industrial communication protocols like PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Powerlink and Ethernet/IP. The system is constructed of a motherboard plus a core board that is soldered on top. As well as the CPU itself, the core board contains a Gigabit Ethernet PHY, 256MB NAND Flash, 256MB DDR3 SDRAM, 32Kb EEPROM, and a power management IC. The base board provides many peripheral interfaces and extended controller chips. These include a Debug port, USB Host port, USB OTG port, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, one CAN, one RS485, one microSD, Audio in/out, Buzzer, WiFi, LCD, Touchscreen, JTAG, and other peripheral signals on two 20-pin extension interfaces. The board comes with a Linux 3.2.0 software package, detailed documentation, and all necessary cables. At the bottom of this page, you can add an optional LCD touchscreen.
