This simple but handy board adds a 9-pin male Sub-D connector to any PIC RS232 or RS485 board that has a Frontend Connector. It connects pins 5 and 6 of the BRD2 connector of the Main Board with pins 3 and 2 of the Sub-D connector respectively. Pin 5 of the Sub-D connector is connected to ground.
Solder Space (CON2) is provided that makes the RS232/485 Rx/Tx signals and GND available at an optional 3 pin 2.54mm IDC connector.
Solder Space for CON1 allows to access the PIC's I2C/SPI signals and GND via an optional 4-pin 2.54mm IDC connector.
Frontend connector pin B6 (usually routed to PIC port pin RB6) is connected to a red LED.
