Adapter Click is a breakout board which simplifies the connection of add-on boards with IDC10 headers to a mikroBUS socket. Its 2×5-pin connection is compatible with mikroElektronika's IDC10 Modules. While mikroElektronika's large development boards have IDC10 sockets that those modules could connect to already, their hand-held mikromedia and mikromedia+ boards do not; that is where this adapter really comes into play. It makes dozens of new peripheral modules available to those boards (and others, e.g. STM32 Discovery Boards) via their mikroBUS shields. In combination with the Click Booster Pack or the Click USB Adapter you also can connect the IDC10 modules to a TI Stellaris/Tiva LaunchPad or to a PC, respectively. There are two ways of establishing the connection: using male or female IDC10 connectors. Both are provided with the package. You may solder the male IDC10 header on the top side of Adapter Click and connect your add-on board directly or via an IDC10 flat cable. In some cases, the female header socket is a better choice. Solder it either on the top or the bottom side, depending on which one is more convenient in your circumstance. You'll also have to solder the mikroBUS connectors to the board; they are included. Each mikroBUS line is covered, except AN and RST. There are two jumpers for SPI/I2C selection and one for selection of power supply range. IDC10-mikroBUS Adapter Board Resources
