Use SMT parts on breadboards without the need for expert soldering skills! This is a pack of 10 PCBs each of which is a strip of three SOIC-to-DIP adapters with a twist. These have the patented Schmartboard|ez technology to make soldering surface-mount devices easy. Your SMT part will sit in grooves that hold it in place and already have solder in them. So all you need to do is put a chip in the grooves, apply flux, and use a small enough soldering tip. The adapters ship as single PCBs that can be snapped apart easily, creating 30 individual boards: - 10 for 8-pin SOIC at 1.27mm pitch
- 10 for 18-pin SOIC at 1.27mm pitch
- 10 for 28-pin SOIC at 1.27mm pitch
Ten 40-pin male header strips are included. These strips also can be snapped apart so that you can create the individual segments needed when these boards have been separated. These strips do not provide enough pins for all the boards! The strips total 400 pins. Calculate how many pins you'll need for your project and order additional pin headers using the option box at the bottom of this page, or purchase an additional 10-pack of header strips so you'll have more than enough.  Also available in single quantity (i.e. 3 individual adapters — 1 of each type).
