This add-on module allows you to create an interface between an MI0235 MIAC automation controller and conventional TTL-level systems, to allow you access to commonly used serial buses. The unit includes RS232 and RS485 bus interfaces as well as TTL level serial buses (SPI, I2C and USART). The unit also includes a number of TTL-level I/O lines and a FAT16/32-compatible SD card slot. The MIAC Serial Expansion Module is designed in particular to provide a wide range of serial communication interfaces. In addition to generic I/O, two PWM outputs and five ADC inputs, this module also provides TTL-level interfaces for I2C, SPI and UART serial communication protocols. The front panel provides access to a second UART via a DCE 9-way D-type socket with RS232-level signals. This module also incorporates an SD memory card slot for data logging, storing and retrieval applications. MIAC Serial Expansion Module Features - 18x TTL-level I/O pins
