
The Eddy Memory module is the ideal choice for applications with large memory storage requirements. It is equipped with an SDIO and a USB host port, allowing you to select your preferred storage medium and capacity. Data gathered and accumulated from serial devices can be saved and backed up to be sent over Ethernet. It also can serve as an ideal backup storage solution in case of Ethernet communication failure. Aside from memory expansion, various devices can be hooked up to the USB host port, making this module a feasible solution for embedded applications including surveillance systems, building automation systems, POS systems, industrial automation systems and many more. Like all other Eddy modules, this module contains a powerful Eddy-CPU module which incorporates an ARM9 (180 MHz) processor, 4MB Flash and 32MB SDRAM which is run by a stable real-time Linux OS, Lemonix. Lemonix, Real-Time Linux Lemonix is a real-time Linux built on Linux kernel 2.6.x. To enable developers to program their own socket/serial communication applications with the least amount of time and effort, SystemBase provides a range of development support including SDK (Software Development Kit), API (Application Programming Interface) and Source Codes to assist development. LemonIDE, Eclipse-based IDE LemonIDE is an integrated development environment built on the open-source Eclipse framework. LemonIDE provides an easy and effective GUI for application and firmware development that runs on Lemonix.
