This simple board breaks out a micro-B USB connector's VCC, D-, D+, ID and GND pins to a 0.1"-pitch header. The board has mounting holes so you can secure it in place. You can use this board to add a micro-B USB connector to your project without needing to solder the tiny connector. The board measures 0.8 × 0.45" (20.3 × 11.4 mm). In typical usage, the micro-B receptacle is always the USB Host, so the ID pin would not be used. This board nevertheless breaks out the ID pin, so you're not limited to typical usage.
