DAISY-9 is an RS232 DTE serial interface, not optoisolated, with TXD, RXD, CTS and RTS signals. It is part of the modular Daisy System that can be controlled by the FOX Board G20 via the DAISY-1 Adapter, or by the Terra Board.

The obsolete BeeBoard can accept a single DAISY-9 module on port W1 (TXD/RXD only).
The DAISY-9 board measures 40 × 45 × 18 mm. The RS232 controller is a Maxim MAX3232.

Examples for FOX Board G20 These assume the DAISY-9 is connected to Fox D3. You can change the ttyS1 reference in the code to the appropriate value for the connector you're using on your Fox or Terra Board (refer to the table above).
