4-wire resistive touch panel controller On-board connector for touch panel flat cable Female 2×5-pin interface to development system The TouchPanel Controller Board features a 4-wire resistive analog touch panel controller. When two resistive foils of a touch panel are connected, this controller creates output voltage levels which can be decoded to get precise x and y coordinates of the pressure point. The board features a connector for a 4-wire touch panel flat cable, and a short ribbon cable with an IDC10 female connector interface to your development board or your prototype. Use in your own design While this board was created originally for mikroElektronika's development systems, it's certainly possible to use in your own project. To do so, you may want to pick up IDC10 box headers that you can solder onto your PCB, or an EasyTEST board and jumper wires to wire it up however you need to. Note: This board is designed for 5V systems only. Touchpanel Controller Board Resources A display with a compatible touchpanel can be selected in the options below. This board allows you to connect and control the touchpanel part only. To connect or control the display itself, you may want to purchase a Display Connector Board or a Display Serial Controller Board.
