The WiFi PROTO Board is a miniature, inexpensive wireless 2.4GHz 802.11b solution for your prototype. It carries an MRF24WB0MA WiFi radio transceiver module with integrated PCB antenna, and matching circuitry. The board uses 4-wire SPI and UART interface for communication with your host microcontroller.
The connection pads are unpopulated, so you can decide how to connect the board to your system. Male header pins are provided that you can solder, for typical breadboard use.
Note: Your host microcontroller must be running a TCP/IP stack. The MRF24WB0MA supports Microchip's free TCP/IP protocol stack which is available for PIC18, PIC24, dsPIC33, and PIC32 microcontrollers.
