The CS-428/9AT converts RS232 signals to RS422 or RS485. It is an efficient solution for applying the advantages of RS422/485 to RS232 devices. It operates without the need to install any software. A switch on the top of the unit allows you to switch between RS422 or RS482. Under a 1:N communication environment, if more than one device sends data at the same time, there is an electrical collision that leads to an error. In order to prevent this, data I/O control is necessary at certain points. The CS-428/9AT-PRO performs automatic toggling by hardware, so you don't need to worry about writing any code to handle flow control.
