Use this simple PCB to work with any SMD IC in an 8-pin SOIC package. Solder your SMD IC onto the PCB and solder male header pins to the bottom of the PCB to create a SOIC-to-DIP adapter that you can now easily plug into an 8-pin DIP socket.
The DIP and SOIC width is 150mil. PCB size is 14mm × 14mm.
