SOP16 universal socket adapter Converts from a DIL ZIF socket to SOP16 (1.27mm pitch, 6mm width) (OTS-16-03). Can be used with Wellon and other programmers for Micron microcontrollers, Microchip MCP and PIC devices, and other devices in 8- or 16-pin SOIC packages. (A version of this adapter specifically for 8-pin devices is available by request; the difference is only that the top eight pins in the socket are removed.) Some adapters bear the older part number WL-SOP16(8)-U1 on their silkscreen.
