The VS1011 chip on this board is capable of decoding MPEG 1.0 & 2.0 audio layer III (MP3) and WAV (PCM + IMA ADPCM) formats and can drive 30-Ohm headphones with no additional power amplifier.

This breakout board provides the necessary external support circuitry and allows for easy access to the VS1011 pins via solder pads. You can mount your own connectors or headers. We offer straight square pin headers as an optional add-on at the bottom of this page.
