The TTL-232R-5V-PCB board allows for a simple way to connect serial TTL level interface devices to USB. This version of the USB to TTL serial adapter PCB has its I/O pins configured to operate at 5V levels.

This USB to serial board uses a FT232RQ device which is mounted on a small PCB which is designed to fit inside a moulded USB 'A' connector. The USB 'A' connector is fitted on the PCB, which allows the USB to serial board to be connected directly to a USB port on a PC or USB hub.

The six pads on the USB to serial board provide access to transmit (Tx), receive (Rx), RTS#, CTS#, Vcc (5V), and GND signals.

The TTL-232R-PCB is fully RoHS compliant and designs based on it have easily passed FCC and CE approvals.
