Adds capacitive buttons and a slider as a control interface Continuous sensor scan current: 1.5mA Deep sleep current: 4.0ľA High sensitivity Immunity to RF and AC noise Robust sensing algorithm Run time reconfigurable over I2C 3.3V or 5V power supply The CapSense click add-on board features a CY8C201A0 capacitive sensing module which takes human body capacitance as an input and directly provides the real-time sensor information via I2C output. The board contains capacitive sensing elements (5-segment slider and two buttons) as well as two LEDs (inside each button). The CY8C201A0 capacitive controller has high immunity against radiated and conductive noise. The board is designed to use 3.3V or 5V power supply. This is determined by the position of SMD jumper. This module communicates with a host board via mikroBUS I2C (SDA, SCL), AN and RST lines. An SMD jumper is used to select 3.3V or 5V power supply. It is in the 3.3V position by default. mikroBUS Click Boards Overview Click boards come with header pins that you must solder yourself. After that, they just plug directly into a mikroBUS socket. mikroBUS is a specially designed plug-and-play pinout standard. The sockets are found on Clicker boards, these mikromedia shields, and development systems from mikroElektronika (V7 systems and later). You also can connect Click boards to many other popular platforms via these adapters: - PC Click USB Adapter (MIKROE-1433)
- Arduino Arduino UNO click shield (MIKROE-1581)
- Raspberry Pi Pi click shield (MIKROE-1512)
- BeagleBone Black BeagleBone click shield (MIKROE-1596)
- STM32F3 Discovery STM32F3 Discovery Shield (MIKROE-1447)
- STM32F4 Discovery STM32F4 Discovery Shield (MIKROE-1481)
- Stellaris LM4F120 LaunchPad / Tiva TM4C123G LaunchPad Click BOOSTER PACK (MIKROE-1363)
In addition, it is royalty-free to add mikroBUS to your own designs. Visit the mikroBUS Category to see the full line of Click boards. Capacitive Sensing Add-on Module Resources
