The LilyPad Micro is a smaller version of the LilyPad LED. The LED is the same, but it is mounted vertically and is not paired with a current-limiting resistor. The result is a board that is approximately 3 × 9 mm. Note: Without a resistor, it is possible to burn out the LEDs in the LilyPad Micro boards. Conductive thread tends to have high resistance which can help, so you'll want to make sure your stitches are long enough to bring the current down to the LED's operating specs. If you're controlling these with the LilyPad Main Board, you needn't worry; it has current limiting built in.
