This shield provides voltage translation between 5V Arduino shields and the pcDuino2 or pcDuino3 mini Linux PC. Because the pcDuino2/3 has 3.3V I/O lines while many Arduino shields were built for the original 5V Arduino standard, it is necessary to put this shield between your pcDuino2 and any 5V Arduino shield. This shield also provides a bit of prototyping space, and breaks out the P10 (GPIO) and P6 (SPI1) headers of the pcDuino2/3. The latter means it's not entirely compatible with other 3.3V boards that have Arduino shield connectors; it should be used with pcDuino2 only unless you're confident you can work with it.
