This is a strip of five header pins with one end designed to be press-fit onto a through-hole PCB without the need for solder or a socket. In other words, solder the side with straight 3mm pins to your device, then you can simply "plug in" the device to a host proto PCB. The press-fit connector side can be pressed into pads with 1.00mm to 1.10mm holes on a PCB with a standard 1.6mm thickness. When using a 1.00mm hole, the connector will fit very tightly, and a tool will be needed to remove it. When using a 1.10mm hole, the connector is not so tight, and can be inserted and removed by hand. This strip can be broken into smaller segments as needed for your application.
