Quectel M95 GSM/GPRS module On-board SMA connector as well as 3.5mm quadrupole earphone/microphone jack SIM card socket integrated on the bottom side of the board Supports GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz Quad-band frequency Supports 3.3V or 5V power supply GSM2 Click is an add-on board in mikroBUS form factor which is a perfect solution for adding a GSM/GPRS communication layer to your device. It features a Quectel M95 GSM/GPRS module which supports GSM 850MHz, GSM 900MHz, DCS 1800MHz or PCS 1900MHz quad-band frequencies with 85.6 kbps GPRS data transfer. It supports internet service protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, FTP and PPP. The board contains a quadrupole audio/microphone jack, an SMA antenna connector, as well as a SIM card socket (you must provide your own SIM card, of course). GSM Click communicates with the target microcontroller via seven mikroBUS lines (RX, TX, INT, PWM, CS, RST and AN). This board can use either 3.3V or 5V power supply and I/O voltage levels, selected via SMD jumper (in 3.3V position by default). A green LED indicates the presence of power supply. mikroBUS Click Boards Overview Click boards come with header pins that you must solder yourself. After that, they just plug directly into a mikroBUS socket. mikroBUS is a specially designed plug-and-play pinout standard. Newer (v7) development systems manufactured by mikroElektronika, which we carry, have mikroBUS sockets already built in. You also can connect Click boards to many other popular platforms via these adapters: - PC — Click USB Adapter (MIKROE-1433)
- Arduino — Arduino UNO click shield (MIKROE-1581)
- Raspberry Pi — Pi click shield (MIKROE-1512)
- BeagleBone Black — BeagleBone click shield (MIKROE-1596)
- STM32F3 Discovery — STM32F3 Discovery Shield (MIKROE-1447)
- STM32F4 Discovery — STM32F4 Discovery Shield (MIKROE-1481)
- Stellaris LM4F120 LaunchPad / Tiva TM4C123G LaunchPad — Click BOOSTER PACK (MIKROE-1363)
In addition, it is royalty-free to add mikroBUS to your own designs. Visit the mikroBUS Category to see the full line of Click boards. GSM Add-on Board Resources
