Compatible with CY8CKIT-050 PSoC 5LP development kit TFT driven by ILI9341 display controller; 262k colors Built-in microSD slot enables external storage capability Display contains 4-wire resistive touch panel The PSoC TFT Expansion Board is a breakout board for the MI0283QT-9A 2.8" TFT color display with 320 × 240 pixel resolution, driven by an ILI9341 display controller. The TFT display is covered with a resistive touch panel which can be used as an input device. This board is pin-compatible with the CY8CKIT-050 PSoC 5LP Development Kit from Cypress Semiconductor. It has two sets of 2×20-pin header pin pads for connection. A set of 2×20 right-angle headers is provided for you to solder onto the outer pads. Mounting holes (ø 2 mm) simplify integration. A microSD card slot on the back side of the board allows you to use microSD cards as external data storage, saving the PSoC microcontroller's memory. The board is designed to use 3.3V power supply, though 5V is recommended for the TFT backlight. A stylus for the touchscreen is not included; you can add one using the option checkbox at the bottom of this page, along with optional straight pin headers. Usage Example The following image shows this display module with the included right-angle headers installed, plugged into a CY8CKIT-050 PSoC 5LP Development Kit. You can use this display on your own system too, of course. Another module with the same TFT display and touchscreen, but different pinout and no microSD slot, is the mikroTFT.
