3.3V Power Single Voltage Regulated SchmartBoard Module This is a highly stable linear-low-drop voltage regulator. With 12V DC input, output is 3.3V and provides up to 800mA of output peak current. For negative voltage, you can reverse Output and Ground. Real-world experience will vary from these specifications. The amperage is meant to be a peak — not sustained amperage. For successful use at a sustained amperage, you will want to draw no more than 50-60% of the published peak rating. Heat-sinking the regulator may help increase these numbers. Should you see these numbers exceeded, the voltage will drop. Connect multiple SchmartBoards together! Every SchmartBoard has small notches along its sides which allow you to connect any number of them together in any combination. For example, you can attach this SchmartBoard to prototyping SchmartBoards that carry CPUs, interfaces or other electronics.
