Power supply in DIN rail format for control cabinets This power supply unit takes mains power and converts it into usable power for devices on your DIN rail. Two versions of the AK-RailPort-PS are available: 12V output or 24V output. Each provides 20W. Use the Version option selector at the bottom of this page to specify which version you want.
These power supplies are in top-hat rail format, specifically designed to match the AK-NORD RailPort series . It can be mounted on a 35mm top hat / DIN rail EN 60715 (50022).
The AK-RailPort-PS functionally is the same as the AK-DinRail-PS ; it just has a different form. The DinRail series has a slim profile, putting the connections one behind the other to take up minimal rail space. This RailPort series has a more traditional profile, putting the connections side by side along the rail. Unlike the DinRail series, the RailPort series does not have a cover over the LEDs.
(Just to confuse things, the RailPort has the same AK-DINRAIL-PS xx part number printed on it, as you see in the pictures.)

Warning Working with mains voltages is extremely dangerous. Make sure you know what you are doing, have mains power turned off at the circuit breaker and are using wires of sufficient gauge when hooking up the mains.
