This software add-on is used to activate Protocol Analyzer Packet Trigger capability for ZeroPlus logic analyzer models LAP-C-16032, LAP-C-16064, LAP-C-16128, LAP-C-162000, LAP-C-32128, and LAP-C-321000. The Packet Trigger function of the Protocol Analyzer can be used to help you find the correct position in complex packets. In the case of this function, the options of the Protocol Packet are determined by the different Protocol Analyzers. Take the I2C for an example. When we do the Packet Trigger function for the packets of the I2C Protocol Analyzer, the protocol packets can be selected from the options, such as START, ADDRESS, READ, WRITE, A-ACK, D-ACK, D-NACK, A-NACK, ERROR and STOP. The Value of the Protocol Packet can be entered according to the requirements of the I2C Protocol Analyzer. Protocol Analyzer Trigger Plugin Operation Step 1 When the Protocol Analyzer Module is activated, choose the Bus Trigger Setup item from the pull-down menu of the Trigger or Bus Trigger Setup icon on the toolbars, or single-click the Trigger column to open the Bus Trigger dialog box, then select the Protocol Analyzer Trigger tab to open the Protocol Analyzer Trigger dialog box. Step 2 If you have not registered this function, the Protocol Analyzer Trigger dialog box will be grayed-out. At this time, you can press the Register button to open the Register dialog box and enter your serial key to finish the registration. Step 3 After the Protocol Analyzer Trigger function is registered, you can return the Protocol Analyzer Trigger dialog box to set the relative parameters. Step 4 Take the I2C Protocol Analyzer for an example. Set the Value of the DATA to 0X4A and click the Single Run icon on the logic analyzer software. After the trigger is finished, the position of the T Bar will be seen at position 0X4A in the Waveform Display Area.
