This low cost prototyping board for 20-pin AVR microcontrollers comes mounted with an ATTiny2313 microcontroller in a 20-pin DIP socket and minimum support components, like a reset switch, crystal and power-on LED. All microcontroller port pins are each routed to two adjacent through-hole solder pads. Dedicated solder rows for Vcc & GND help to simplify connections of your own components. A prototyping area allows you to add your own circuitry. This board works at 3.3V or 5V DC. Use this board for your quick experiments and prototypes. Note: This board does not have an on-board voltage regulator. You must use this board with a regulated DC power supply. Exceeding 5.5VDC will damage the components on this board. The universal supplies shown in the options below do not have a 3.3V or 5V setting. You can use them, however, in combination with one of the 3.3V or 5V regulator boards found in the Voltage Regulators Category. That category also has some USB-sourced options. Programming This board has a single row, male ISP header for in-circuit programming of the microcontoller. Most AVR ISP programmer have a 2x10 or 2x6 pin ISP connector. To use such a programmer with this board, you will need an AVRISP adapter together with some prototyping wires to interface between your programmer and this board. (see add-on options below). Alternatively you could make your own ISP adapter cable. We also offer a low cost serial port AVR ISP programmer that has the matching 6-pin single row ISP connector (see add-on options below).
