How to Buy your Flowcode 7 License
Step 1: Select your ‘License Version’: Standard or Professional
Select the License version from the drop down option menu at the bottom of this page.
Standard User License A ‘Standard’ user of Flowcode is someone who wishes to develop applications at home. A standard user license does not give the user commercial rights; commercial rights can only be achieved by purchasing a professional Flowcode license.
Professional User License A ‘Professional’ Flowcode user is someone who is using Flowcode code in commercial products or is working in a commercial environment. These type of users must select a professional license. For professional users there are also discounted 2-user and 5-user licenses available.
Academic User License Academic licenses are for use in education. No commercial products can be developed with an academic license. For academic users there are discounted 1-user, 10-user, and 50-user licenses available.
Step 2: Select the ‘chip packs’ you wish to add to your license
Place a check-mark in front of each chip pack you want in the "Optional Recommended Products for this Item" section at the bottom of this page.
!!!! Note: At a minimum you have to select one chip pack!!!! You can add as many chip packs as you like from the option list, but you have to select at least one, as it tells us for which microcontroller architecture you want your Flowcode license. The price of the chip pack is added to the base price displayed at the top of this page.
Chip Packs add support for different microcontroller device families such as 8-bit PIC, 16-bit PIC, AVR, ARM, etc.
Step 3 (Optional): Select the 'feature packs' you want to add to your Flowcode license
Place a check-mark in front of each feature pack you want in the "Optional Recommended Products for this Item" section at the bottom of this page. The price of the feature pack is added to the base price displayed at the top of this page. Feature Packs are optional.
By selecting different feature packs, you add capabilities and support for various components to your Flowcode license. A full explanation of what is included in each feature pack is available in the Flowcode 7 Feature Pack Info document. Also see the Flowcode 7 datasheet for a more detailed explanation.
What is Flowcode 7?
For more details see the Flowcode 7 Datasheet.
Flowcode7 allows you to quickly and easily develop complex electronic and electromechanical systems. The graphical programming tool allows those with little experience to develop systems in minutes.
Flowcode 7 is an advanced integrated development environment (IDE) for electronic and electromechanical system development. Engineers—both professional and academic use Flowcode to develop systems for control and measurement based on microcontrollers or on rugged industrial interfaces using Windows compatible personal computers.
Flowcode is perfect for those programming PIC devices including Microchip's 8bit, 16bit and 32 bit range of microcontrollers. It's also an easy and effective solution for programming Atmel AVR, Arduino and ARM based devices.
Upgrade to Flowcode 7 from Flowcode V5 or V6
Users of previous versions of Flowcode can upgrade to Flowcode 7 at a discounted price. Contact us with a message that includes your existing Flowcode key and Matrix account user name and we will respond back to you with a quote.
