The Aport-212PG is a programmable serial-to-Ethernet device server that includes an ARM Cortex-M3 CPU, 64KB SRAM and 512KB Flash. This platform is programmable in C/C++ and comes with FreeRTOS and lwIP pre-installed. The Sourcery CodeBench Lite toolchain can be downloaded from the Mentor Graphics website or you can use Keil from ARM. Example programs that demonstrate serial and Ethernet data communication, Web configuration and EEPROM read and write are available to download (including source code) for your reference.
Aport-212PG is built with a 32-bit NXP LPC1768 100MHz ARM Cortex-M3 processor which is equipped with 64KB SRAM 512KB Flash, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and two RS-232/485 serial ports (one is capable of RS-422 also). Aport-212PG comes with FreeRTOS which is a market-leading Real-Time Operating System that is professionally developed, strictly quality controlled, robust, supported, and free to embed in commercial products.
For its TCP/IP protocol stack, Aport-212PG supports lwIP, network connection and BSD socket library. A tiny web server is available in the Aport-212PG, ready for your web-based application. A Windows management utility for discovering and configuring Aport-212PG is included. Your compiled C/C++ applications and Web pages can be uploaded to Aport-212PG by using the Aport management utility.
