This is an assembled combination of the TPP2 Size 2 Tibbo Project PCB and the TPB2-KIT Size 2 Tibbo Project Box. The box comes already assembled, and the PCB comes already installed in the box, so all you have to do is open the top and add Tibbits to build your customized embedded system.
The box includes wall-mounting holes. With optional hardware, it can be mounted on a DIN Rail instead.
This assembled system includes Tibbit remover tongs and packaging as shown. Use the tongs to remove the blank Tibbit pieces wherever you need to install a C Tibbit. With most of the assembly already done for you, this Barebones System is a convenient time saver. If you prefer to save money, you can purchase the TPP2 PCB and TBP2-KIT separately and assemble the system yourself.
There are two box kits that support the Size 2 PCB. This version is best for building a device that will not have direct human interface. It includes two paper inserts for you to write the interface information, and two plastic covers to protect those inserts.
For HMI applications, see the TPS2L system which includes a 3.5" 320×240 TFT LCD plus four-button keypad that will sit on top instead of the paper inserts.
Size 2 Tibbo Project System Overview A Tibbo Project PCB (TPP) contains a T1000 CPU, an Ethernet port, Flash memory, etc., like an EM1000 module. Unlike the EM1000, however, the TPP doesn't need a host board to plug into; the TPP is the host board.
The TPP2 provides three "tiles" which equates to six M and six C sockets for Tibbits. Plug in desired Tibbits to create a cost-effective, highly customized automation device that carries no unwanted excess.
To achieve an economical basic unit price, the TPP keeps the on-board circuitry to the necessary minimum. For example, there is no built-in power supply; the board directly accepts only regulated +5V power. Real-world power processing (from 12V, PoE, etc.) is achieved by adding power supply Tibbits. This "no excess" approach is the cornerstone of the Tibbo Project System.
This smaller TPP can implement configurations with up to four simple serial ports, up to 12 relays, or up to 24 opto-inputs, PWM, and open-collector outputs. It is perfect for data collection and AutoID projects, as well as factory, shop, data center, hotel, and home automation applications. The board contains enough C sockets to accommodate temperature, humidity, pressure, ambient light, and shock sensors simultaneously. With the use of appropriate Tibbits, the board can even control legacy IR devices by emulating traditional IR remote controls.

Programmable Firmware Features You can code your applications in Tibbo BASIC and/or Tibbo C within the comprehensive TIDE development environment with seamless cross-debugging via Ethernet. An integrated web server (HTTP) creates a web front-end for your device.

Building your system You can use the Tibbo Project System Configurator to design your system and see which Tibbits you can put in each slot and how power inputs will work. After the Configurator loads, click on File and select New Project, choose the Size 2 board and click Use this! As you build your system, the Configurator will display a message on the bottom of the screen if there would be a problem in the current setup.
Once you're happy with your setup, go to the Tibbits Category and purchase each Tibbit that you have determined your system will need.
Optional parts Below, you can select a couple of optional parts for the box. One is a Vibration Protection Kit to ensure your Tibbits stay in place (install it after installing your Tibbits). The other is a DIN Rail Mounting Kit so you can secure your finished system to your DIN Rail.
You can also choose the optional WiFi module below. Just be sure also to select both Tibbit #37 and the WiFi antenna listed under it.
