4-20mA Current Loop Receiver mikroBUS Module (4-20mA R click) US$26.00

MIKROE-1387
4-20mA Current Loop Receiver mikroBUS Module (4-20mA R click)

  • Receives output current (4-20mA) from transmitter and converts it into a voltage (0.4-2V)
  • Features MCP3201 12-bit ADC with Serial Peripheral Interface
  • 3.3V or 5V power supply
  • On-board screw terminals for easy connection
  • 4-20mA R Click is an add-on board in mikroBUS form factor. It serves as a receiver in a 4-20mA current loop standard. It features an INA196 current shunt monitor, an MCP3201 12-bit ADC as well as a TPS61041 DC/DC boost converter. It receives output current (4mA to 20mA) from a transmitter and converts it into a voltage (0.4V to 2V). This voltage is converted into a 12-bit data signal in the MCP3201 A/D converter and sent via mikroBUS SPI lines. Together with the 4-20mA T Click, this board forms a complete 4-to-20mA current loop standard. It is designed to use either 3.3V or 5V power supply, selectable via SMD jumper (in 3.3V position by default). An LED indicates the presence of power supply.

    mikroBUS Click Boards Overview

Click boards come with header pins that you must solder yourself. After that, they just plug directly into a mikroBUS socket. mikroBUS is a specially designed plug-and-play pinout standard. The sockets are found on Clicker boards, these mikromedia shields, and development systems from mikroElektronika (V7 systems and later).

You also can connect Click boards to many other popular platforms via these adapters:

In addition, it is royalty-free to add mikroBUS to your own designs. Visit the mikroBUS Category to see the full line of Click boards.
