S-JTAG adapter compatible with i.MX233
iMX233-SJTAG is an adapter which uses just two signals and transforms them into a normal JTAG interface. Using parallel JTAG is tricky because the parallel JTAG signals are shared with SD-card SPI signals, thus if you use parallel JTAG signals you will lose the SD-card. This adapter solves the problem. The adapter works both with commercial IDEs and OpenOCD.
This adapter can be powered via USB (a mini-USB connector is on the board) or via your JTAG programmer. A solder jumper gives you the option of powering the target.
Note that this is not a programmer itself — just an adapter you can use with ARM JTAG programmers that have a standard 20-pin ARM JTAG connection and are compatible with Freescale i.MX233 processors. The SJTAG side includes a cable with a male four-pin header at the end. You can connect these pins to the SJTAG headers on the following boards, for example: Note that those boards have through-hole pads for SJTAG, so you will need either to add a four-pin female connector, or solder this adapter's cable to the board.
