4-20mA Current Loop Transmitter mikroBUS Module (4-20mA T click) US$26.00

MIKROE-1296
4-20mA Current Loop Transmitter mikroBUS Module (4-20mA T click)

  • Receives digital input signal from host MCU and sets output loop current (4-20mA)
  • Galvanic isolation provided through ADuM1411 optocoupler
  • SPI communication
  • On-board screw terminal for easy connection
  • 4-20mA T Click is an add-on board in mikroBUS form factor. It's a compact and easy solution for adding 4-to-20mA industry-standard communication protocol to your design. It features an ADuM1411 Quad-chanel digital isolator, an MCP4921 12-bit DAC as well as an XTR116 4-20mA current loop transmitter. The 4-20mA T Click communicates with the target board's microcontroller via three mikroBUS SPI lines (SDI, SCK, CS). The board is designed to use 3.3V and 5V power supply, selectable via an SMD jumper (soldered in 3.3V position by default). An LED indicates the presence of power supply.

Together with the 4-20mA R Click (Receiver), these boards form a complete 4-to-20mA current loop standard.

    mikroBUS Click Boards Overview

Click boards come with header pins that you must solder yourself. After that, they just plug directly into a mikroBUS socket. mikroBUS is a specially designed plug-and-play pinout standard. The sockets are found on Clicker boards, these mikromedia shields, and development systems from mikroElektronika (V7 systems and later).

You also can connect Click boards to many other popular platforms via these adapters:

In addition, it is royalty-free to add mikroBUS to your own designs. Visit the mikroBUS Category to see the full line of Click boards.
