TI MSC1211Y5 CPU Module, RS232, Expansion Headers

MINI-MAX/51-F is a general-purpose, low-cost, highly reliable and highly expandable microcontroller system that is based on Texas Instruments MSC1211Y5 microcontroller (8051 architecture).

Compatible with MicroTRAK

If you have a MicroTRAK development platform, you can swap out your current microcontroller board for this one and keep the same motherboard and peripherals. If you are migrating from PIC or BASIC Stamp, you also should purchase the IO51 Module for your MicroTRAK system.

MSC1211Y5 CPU Module Features

  • 8051-compatible core with 4 clocks per instruction cycle
  • 16K bytes of Flash program / data memory (endurance 1 million cycles)
  • 1280 bytes of static data RAM
  • Precision 8 differential or single-ended channels with 24-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC)
  • Quad 16-bit monotonic Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)
  • One PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier), gain from 1 to 128
  • Additional 32-bit accumulator
  • Master / Slave SPI with DMA
  • Multi-master I2C
  • 16-bit PWM
  • 21 Interrupt sources
  • 512-byte EEPROM
  • RS232 Serial Port
  • In-circuit Programming of the microcontroller through the serial port
  • Keypad connector
  • LCD connector (programmable contrast adjustment for the LCD)
  • Analog connector and screw terminal block for analog circuits
  • Expansion bus interface to low-cost peripheral boards
  • Power connector: 2.1mm 5.5mm barrel, center positive
