An effective and low-cost solution for visual indication of output signals, the EasyLED board can be connected to a prototype device via its female IDC10 connector, or you can wire it to your system via its male 2×5 pin header. It features eight LEDs and supports 3.3V or 5V power supply. You can choose the color of the LEDs from the option selector at the bottom of this page. The part number on your invoice will change to MIKROE-571, MIKROE-572, or MIKROE-573 depending on which color you choose.
This board is used to show the logic level on the development system ports. When a pin is driven high (logic 1), the appropriate LED connected to that pin is turned on. Likewise, if a pin is driven low (logic 0), the appropriate LED will not illuminate.
Piggyback on EasyPULL Board You can plug the EasyLED board onto the top of the EasyPULL board to provide device pins with Vcc or GND via resistors and obtain visual indication of output signals via LEDs. See the image to the right to see how the boards can be piggybacked while plugged into a mikroElektronika development system.
