Screw Terminals Board, 8x Standard + Power, IDC10 (EasyConnect)


  • Ten screw terminals; one for each pin of the IDC10 connector
  • Female IDC10 connector is compatible with I/O port headers on mikroElektronika development systems
  • For use with 2.7V to 5V systems
  • The EasyConnect Board features standard screw-terminated connectors that enable eight wires to be connected or removed easily. These connectors can handle solid and stranded wires. The board can provide a much easier way of connecting your surrounding electronics to your development system. You just need a standard 2×5-pin header on your system to plug in this board. Development systems by mikroElektronika have compatible headers already installed, so you can plug this board into those systems without needing to solder or wire anything.

    Use in your own design

    While this board was created originally for mikroElektronika's development systems, it's certainly possible to use in your own project. To do so, you may want to pick up IDC10 box headers that you can solder onto your PCB, or an EasyTEST board and jumper wires to wire it up however you need to.

    There are two versions of EasyConnect. This one has standard-sized screw terminals that support thicker-gauge wire. If you'll be using thinner wire, you might want the EasyConnect2 which has smaller screw terminals.
