Ronetix ARM11 In-Circuit Flash Programmer US$1,400.00

PGM-ARM11-US
Ronetix ARM11 In-Circuit Flash Programmer

The Ronetix Flash Programmer is a solution that enables you to program on-board and on-chip Flash devices with ARM7, ARM9, ARM11, ARM Cortex M3, ARM Cortex A8, AVR32, PowerPC Nexus, PowerQUICC II Pro, PowerQUICC III, ColdFire, XScale, Blackfin, MIPS32 and DaVinci processor cores via the JTAG/BDM port.

This version supports ARM11 cores only. Debugging support, and support for other cores, can be added. See below for expansion and upgrade options.

List of supported Flash devices

ARM11 In-Circuit Flash Programmer Features

  • Supports ARM11: i.MX31, i.MX35
  • Multi Core support (with ARM license and extra hardware); up to 4 Cores/Targets
  • Can be used as a Standalone Flash programmer without a host -- the file images are stored on a MMC/SD card and controlled via the front panel interface
  • Automatically programs a Flash device after the target power is detected
  • Can download images from TFTP, FTP, HTTP servers or MMC/SD card
  • Support of various chip vendors: The built-in Flash chip database contains information of more than 800 chips as well as Atmel AT91SAM7, Philips LPC2000, Freescale MAC7100, MPC5500, MPC55XX, MCF52XX, ST STR7, ST STR9, TI TMS470 and TI TMS320DM6446
  • Blackfin virtual memory support -- enables a linear programming and access to a device that is bigger than the visible external asynchronous memory space
  • NAND and OneNAND Flash Programming -- MCU independent
  • NAND Flash JFFS2 support
  • Programming of Atmel AT45DB SPI DataFlash connected to an AT91 MCU -- enables the easy use of AT45DB SPI DataFlash as boot device
  • Automatic processor initialization on power-up and Reset
  • Telnet and Serial command-line interface through the built-in telnet server for Flash programming and debug services
  • Front panel interface: 2 buttons and 7-segment LED; up to 9 file images can be selected on the front panel
  • Ideal for small and mid-range manufacturing
  • Warranty: Hardware 2 Years; Software 1 Year

Technical specifications

  • Clock: 5 kHz to 33 MHz (adaptive clocking)
  • Target Voltage: 1.2V to 5V, autosensing
  • Ethernet: 10/100 BaseT
  • LEDs: Power, Target Power, Ethernet Status, JTAG Status, 7-segment
  • Power Supply: 5V, 1A with 6.9V overvoltage shutdown and reverse-polarity protection
  • Robust aluminum case
  • Dimensions: 115 x 105 x 34 mm
  • Weight: 270 g
  • I/O Ports: 2x10 Programming Header, RJ45 for RS232
  • Buttons: Two on front panel, Reset on back panel

Support for Multiple Cores and Debugging

You can add programming support for additional cores by purchasing the appropriate licenses:
SW-PGM-ARM (ARM7/ARM9/DaVinci)
SW-PGM-XSCALE (Intel/Marvell XScale)
SW-PGM-CORTEX (ST/Luminary ARM Cortex M3, TI ARM Cortex A8)
SW-PGM-MPC5500 (Freescale Nexus PowerPC)
SW-PGM-MPC8300 (Freescale Power QUICC II Pro, PowerQUICC III)
SW-PGM-COLDFIRE (Freescale ColdFire)
SW-PGM-BLACKFIN (ADI Blackfin)
SW-PGM-MIPS32 (Microchip PIC32, Infineon ADM5120)
SW-PGM-AVR32 (Atmel AVR32)

For debugging support of ARM11 and other cores, instead purchase the PEEDI ARM11 JTAG In-Circuit Debugger for GDB and any additional core licenses you require which are listed on its order page.

If you already own this ARM11 Flash programmer, you can add GDB debugging support.
