PC Independent Programmer, Logic Analyzer and 8-/16- bit Memory Emulator This is similar to the All-in-One Chip Programmer, but in addition has an SD memory card slot and includes a 16MB memory card. With that this programmer can be used independent of a PC. It also has some control keys and an LCD display, so operator can control the programming function independent of PC. Note: Only the chip programming function is PC independent not the FLASH/EPROM Emulator, Logic Analyzer. PC Independent Chip Programmer with USB interface operates in two modes: stand-alone and standard PC hosted. In stand-alone mode built-in keyboard and LCD display allows easy operation management. This mode requires memory card (SmartMedia) to store data files and devices in four databases. Contents of the device can also be read in stand-alone mode and saved onto card for further use. The database should be prepared using PC host and stored before using stand-alone mode. PC Independent Chip Programmer Features - Fast programmer with 48-pin socket
- Two operation modes: stand-alone and standard PC hosted (USB)
- Base of devices and files saved on data card
- 8/16-channel, 80/40 MHz logic analyzer
- 8-bit EPROM emulator
- 16-bit EPROM emulator
- 2x 8 test probes
- Digital IC tester
- In-circuit programming connector
- Standard adapters compatibility
- Adapter Creator feature
- Easy software updates
Logic Analyzer Features Ulogic, the UprogHS-based logic analyzer, makes the programmer an excellent measurement tool. Simply connect the included small adapter board with probes directly to the programming socket, run software and begin capturing data. Data may be captured on 8 channels simultaneously with internal sampling frequency max. 80 MHz, or on 16 channels at 40 MHz. An external clock source also may be used. Capture from trigger mode allows the use of an external frequency generator other than what is listed in the software, e.g. the oscillator of a microcontroller. Capture immediate mode is very useful for bus transmission analysis. In this case, the bus control signals (RD, WR) can be used as the clock source. Captured samples can be analyzed in the Text Display window. Ulogic uses the programmer's internal memory as a data buffer which is divided into pre- and post-trigger sections. Both parts of the buffer display data captured before and after trigger conditions. The adjustable size of the pre/post-trigger buffers allows you to analyze signals before and after trigger occurrence. The trigger occurs when a specific pattern or edge is valid. All trigger options can be set easily. Many combinations are available: rising or falling edge, specified pattern or combinations of edge and pattern. Trigger can be also forced by the user. Three capture modes can be set: single, to perform one single capture; continuous (conditional), for viewing continuously changing data; and continuous (unconditional), to capture data continuously without waiting for a trigger. Other features, like capture delay, are also available. Captured data can be saved to a file. The easy-to-use and flexible software displays captured data. Any number of channels can be displayed, and the name of any channel can be changed. Three cursors are available for time/frequency measurements. Zoom options, jump-to-cursor buttons and scrollbar in connection with cursors make data analyzing very easy. Data patterns may be searched for and displayed in text format (binary and hexadecimal).
